Equipment

  • large skillet
  • microplane or grater

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork, turkey, chicken or beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 inch ginger root, grated
  • 1 tbs toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbs sriracha sauce, or to taste
  • 1 package shredded coleslaw mix, or shredded cabbage
  • 1 tbs rice wine vinegar, no sugar version
  • 2 tbs coconut aminos
  • 1 sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning, optional

Instructions

  • Assemble ingredients. Dice onion or buy pre-chopped package.
  • In a large skillet over medium high heat add the ground pork.
  • While the pork is cooking, dice onion. Using a grater or microplane grate ginger and garlic directly into pan.
  • When pork and onion are cooked through, add slaw mix
  • Then add rest of ingredients, except bagel seasoning.
  • Cook until cabbage is tender. Adjust seasoning as desired adding more coconut aminos for salt, sriracha sauce for heat, vinegar for tang.
